Snakey Christmas is a comin’

So when does Christmas start for you?

Your 1st advent calendar chocolate? When you first hear Stop The Cavalry in a shop? The premiere of the John Lewis Xmas TV ad? Town centre Christmas lights switch on? When Lidl start stocking mince pies (August)? When they show Ghostbusters on TV?

Well, we can tell you that this year it officially begins THIS Saturday November 26th at Glastonbury Frost Fayre where The Legendary snakeSNAKEsnake will be premiering their festive set on the Glastonbury Fringe stage (outside Hawthorns) alongside many other musical treats.

This’ll be the first in a series of special Christmas shows (we’re not sure if it’s quite enough to call a ‘tour’) where we’ll be playing some special festive material we’ve been working on as well as the usual snakey party favourites to get you in the mood.

We’ll be returning to some of our favourite venues as well as making a debut at The Green dragon in Wellington. Here are the dates:

Saturday 26th November: Fringe Stage, Frost Fayre, Glastonbury

Saturday 3rd December: Private Party, South Petherton

Wednesday 7th December: The Green Dragon, Wellington

Friday 9th December: The Crown Inn, Pilton

Friday 16th December: Hawthorns, Glastonbury

Saturday 14h January: Wassail! The Lamb & Lion, Hambridge.

We look forward to seeing you for a mulled cider/eggnog/punch and mince pie – filled sing and dance.

See you down the front.

(PS. The correct answer is Ghostbusters.)
