We’re busy making plans for our diaries next year and lining up lots of live dates as well as preparing new material. You’ll hear more about this all soon. But one thing you need to know about sooner is this: Glastonbury Calling.
Taking place on Saturday 27th February the event will see 30 bands taking over 4 venues across Glastonbury town. £10 will get you a wristband that will get in across all the venues all day. As you can see, there are loads of great bands playing, including our dear friends Missy Edwards and John D Revelators. £10 to see so much great music is an absolute bargain.
If you missed our live session on Glastonbury FM last week, you can listen again here.
We went on to promote last week’s OxJam show at The King Arthur with Missy Edwards and played 3 songs: shakeSHAKEshake, The Ballad of David Van Day and Whoowee! We’re on from about 26-50mins.
There’s loads of music from other local bands on there too. Thursday Live is a weekly showcase of local music and if you haven’t checked it out already then you should. Big thanks to Ian Liversidge for having us on and making us feel at home. We look forward to popping in again soon.
Next up on The Legendary snakeSNAKEsnake’s calendar is the first leg of OxJam at the King Arthur Inn, Glastonbury on Friday October 2nd.
Grim pictures in the news recently remind us all what an important role charities like Oxfam play in the world so we are really pleased to be able to do our bit. And we always love playing down at the Arfer so what could be better?
I’ll tell you what – it ain’t just us but a stack of other acts from across the musical spectrum: Missy Edwards, Henry Wacey, Entangled Band, Duncan Batey and UK:ID. There’s got to be something there to take your fancy!
And they’ve got proper cider in the King Arthur too.
To promote the gig, we’ll be appearing on Glastonbury FM the night before to play a few songs. So tune in to 107.1 FM (or listen online) Thursday evening and hear how that goes.
Hope to see you on Friday for a proper good night out!
