Ahh, August Bank Holiday.
Barbecues, sunburn/torrential rain, motorway tailbacks.
Last little squeeze of the British Summer before the schools go back and life returns to normal-ish.
This Sunday, why not completely avoid the M5 Car Park and head over to The Crown at Pilton for some cider and dancing.
As an extra special treat, as well as a live set by The Legendary snakeSNAKEsnake, we’ll also be on the record decks doing a bonus vinyl DJ set for your pleasure.
See you down the front!
This Friday (August 19th) The Legendary snakeSNAKEsnake will be returning to one of our absolute favourite venues, Hawthorns in Glastonbury. The home to many great music nights and a top crowd, we always look forward to this one. There’s not much of this summer left you know, so best get down there for some fun!
See you down the front!
This coming weekend, we’ll be out of the public eye (just one gig at a Wedding on Saturday). But we’ve added a couple more dates to the end of August you might like to know about.
Sunday 14th (afternoon): Portway Classics Car Show and BBQ. Near Langport, TA10 0NQ.
Sunday 28th (evening): The Crown Inn, Pilton (Bank Holiday special, includes Vinyl DJ set).
(All dates can be seen on the side bar listings.)
Look forward to seeing you at a show.
What a lovely little festival! We’ve played a few of these little ’boutique’ festivals and we reckon that Farmfest has got it just right. Good bands. good people, good fun. We look forward to doing it again. Big thanks to Ollie at The Sett and Sophie and Doug on sound and to Finn for his camera work. We’ll be uploading some live footage from our set soon! Watch this space… In the meantime, check out the little video we made on ‘How to make your own snakeSNAKEsnake drink’
You were a lot of fun.
We hope that those of you that wrestled in the mud and swam in the river managed to get the dirt out of all of your parts.
We hope those of you that ate your way through the ‘Chunder Challenge’ didn’t regret it later.
We hope those of you that woke up to find your head had been shaved without your knowing have managed to make up with your partners.
And special thanks to ‘the oldest DJ in Crewkerne’ for her percussion duties throughout. We hope you managed to find your way home and that Wood’s Cider didn’t leave you in a ditch.
We look forward to returning for more ‘gert muddy fun’ in the future.
We’re often asked about the origin of our name. So here’s a handy video tutorial recorded after our set at Farmfest 2016 on how to make your very own snakeSNAKEsnake.
