RIP Pete Seeger – Thank you for the bean music!

sSsnake HQ were very sad to learn of the passing of American folk legend Pete Seeger late week. Much has been said about the great man who influenced everyone from Billy Bragg to Bob Dylan and played at Obama’s inauguration with The Boss. He was the real deal. But for all his protest songs it’s this one that has brought us the most pleasure over the years. Enjoy!

Low Ham Wassail – £820 raised for Air Ambulance

Thank you to everyone who came, took part and helped make possible the first Low Ham Wassail – tickets sold out and an amazing £820 was raised for the Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance. We’ll try and get some pix up here but it was a bit tricky in the dark and wet. People made good in the bad weather, drunk cider and danced til the wee hours. Much fun. I’m sure the cider Gods were appeased and we can expect a bountiful crop of apples ahead. Same again next year folks?
